Option F

Immunity, inflammation and infection
(S. Dubucquoi, J-M Lacroix, J-C Sirard)

Nine one-day seminars

Infectious, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases have a tremendous impact on public health. A better understanding of pathogenic microorganisms, and immune responses is essential for the development of new therapeutic and prophylaxis strategies. This master course will provide students with the conceptual, methodological and experimental approaches for the study of microorganisms and the immune system. The teaching will be focused on the themes developed at the University research structures, particularly the molecular and cellular dynamics of host-pathogen interactions, and the immune processes involved in inflammatory and infectious diseases.
